There are a decent amount of jobs for felons which are more local than we have on here. Three people currently maintain this site. It would be impossible for us to maintain a list of local small businesses and local companies that are known to hire felons. Smaller businesses are a lot better at hiring people with criminal records.

To find more companies that are more local, we recommend using Indeed. It’s a great tool for things that are local to your area. Best of all, it’s free to use. It can even build a resume for you which is pretty useful.

We’d also suggest following us on Twitter @Exoffenders or Facebook for live updates on this section and others. We always tweet and post when we update the jobs for felons section.

We have no affiliation with these companies. You have to go to their hiring website through the link to apply. Leaving a comment for the employer will not get to them.

  1. Amazon hires felons but it depends on how long its been. Recent not that I’ve seen. They did last year hire a guy with 28 felonies that were 15 yrs old.

  2. Just a bit of info for felons in Oregon. Employers are no longer allowed to ask if you have felonies in the application process. During the interview, that’s a different story. Keep that in mind when filling out your apps and remember, if asked during the interview. Be honest, not all employers will reject you because you are a felon, but 9 out of 10 will not give you a chance if they can’t trust you to tell the truth.

  3. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this list. It’s already hard enough for ex-offenders to re-enter society, let alone re-entering the work force. God Bless you and keep the information coming.

  4. Both Subway & Golden Corral have been confirmed by me. The past criminal history is not even asked on the application.

  5. To whomever you are: I praise the LORD for you on behalf of all the ex-felons.

God says, Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. Matthew 5:7
